Videography

I dream of seeing my name in the credits.

Here are some of the projects I have written, directed, shot, and edited. Enjoy!

I created this video for my church’s DNOW to explain the rules to the youth attendees. It is a parody of the Avengers: Endgame trailer and was done for a solid $0 budget using costumes and props from previous events and A/V equipment the church already had. This was a really fun project because I got to be involved in the conception and writing, as well as being the one to direct and shoot the video, and edit the final project, meaning I was involved in every stage of development.

This video was shot by myself and a volunteer at the church and edited by me. It is a recap of my church’s DNOW for 2019. While this video didn’t require much pre-production, working with clips from two different videographers to quickly turn around a final project can prove challenging. Even so, I found it really fun to go through all of our clips and compile them into this quick recap.

One of the first video projects I ever worked on ‘professionally’. We wanted to do a parody of the popular TV show ‘The Office’, and the best part was getting so many members of the staff involved. This was a fun project to be involved in and spawned a love for making parody videos that lasted through my years at NRHBC.

This video was created during the COVID-19 pandemic with a pair of High School Seniors from my church that I recruited to help me broadcast about some of the positives that came out of our time of isolation. My resources were limited for this video, but I am still happy with how it turned out and I know it put a smile on the face of many in our church. Written, directed, shot, and edited by myself.

One of the more fun announcement videos I got to shoot! I always loved when I could incorporate a goofy skit with the regular weekly announcements. The videos always had a fast turnaround time – we would shoot Wednesday afternoon and they needed to be ready for Sunday morning – so it was fun getting to add silly effects under pressure.
